MIPI Camera Cable
Introduction
Since the release of the Raspberry Pi IMX477 camera, due to the high scalability of the IMX477 camera, more and more embedded camera users hope to have a camera extension solution to complete their long-distance projects.
Arducam did it. Arducam is a company dedicated to open source hardware and software, specifically for embedded platforms like Arduino, NVIDIA Jetson and Raspberry Pi camera solutions.
At present, we have finished a lot of solutions for the needs of camera extension. The extension of the MIPI camera cable is one of them, and we have also realized the purpose that some cameras can be used on Multiple platforms and the ultra-long extension cable designed for 3D printing.

Hardware Connection
Abstract
The Camera Extension Cable just extends the connection distance between the camera and platform board, there is no difference with the common MIPI Connection Method.
