Supported UVC Camera Module

Abstract

The following cameras adopts the special chips and special firmware that allows you to modify its Serial Number by our tools.

UB0240*: You can see the number engraved on the back of the camera. If it is UC-716 number, then you can modify the serial number.

UB023301*: You can see the number engraved on the back of the camera. If it is UC-A55 number, then you can modify the serial number.

UB0233*: You can see the number engraved on the back of the camera. If it is UC-A55 number, then you can modify the serial number.

UB0238*: You can see the number engraved on the back of the camera. If it is UC-A26 number, then you can modify the serial number.

Hardware

Connect Arducam UVC camera module to your computer.

Note

Make sure Arducam UVC camera has been connected to your computer before running the UVC serial number tool. Close the UVC serial number tool and open it up again if you want to set another serial number or name after re-plug your camera.

Download and unzip the UVC camera serial number tool

Click here to download the file.

Open up the .exe file

Press the Read and you can see the Device Name and Serial Number of your camera

Modify the Serial Number

Enter the serial number and press Write.

Press OK and modify the serial number successfully
